Wet Cast

Ilam Stone wet cast architiectural masonry is an extremely durable, high
strength material available in a wide range of colours and finishes. The
use of wet cast components, especially by housing developers, generally significantly reduces the amount of damage due to increased strength and durability. Once in place, wet cast components prove to be less susceptible to damage from following trades, thereby retaining their
desired appearance and effect for longer periods.

It is important that Ilam Stone be involved in the design process as early as possible where Wet Cast components are required as unlike the semi-dry method, stones can only be produced at the rate of one per day per mould. Also, depending on the finish required, there could be additional work required to achieve the desired result.
